Pastor Gene Wells has lived in the area for 51 years. He grew up in Woodbine as a small child. In 1980, he began a music ministry and continued to serve God all across the mid-Atlantic region. God blessed him with a wonderful wife, Dana, and two lovely children, Bridgette who attends Liberty University and Tiffanie who is a jr. in high school. He left the private industry to seek God’s will for his life. He returned to Woodbine after receiving a call to be the Music Minister. He became the co-pastor beside Rev. Danny Thomas for six months. Under Pastor Gene and Dana’s leadership through the Holy Spirit, God has continued to grow the church in many aspects of this ministry. Rev. Wells’ vision for Woodbine is to see many ethnic groups come together to worship and to grow together in Jesus Christ. Our goal is to reach not only the un-churched locally, but globally as well. Nothing is impossible when things are done in the name of Jesus Christ.

Dana has worked in Prince William County Schools with handicapped children as well as a teacher in the Elementary grade level. Dana is the Director of Childrens ministries program at Woodbine. She oversees the Christian School and daycare. Dana leads the Children’s Church program on Sunday mornings. Her vision is to expand the minds of children, teaching them about Jesus, helping them to understand good Christian morals in their lives, and to lead children to Jesus Christ.

Pastor Frank Archer, his wife Maria and two children, Shellyann and Christopher are natives of Guyana. He is a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky. Pastor Archer also has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development from Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan and a Bachelor in Counseling Psychology from William Tyndale Collage in Farmington Hills Michigan. He served as a Home Missionary with the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and later served for 12 years as the senior pastor of the Eber Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit Michigan. Pastor Archer brings with him much experience as a church planter, pastor, marriage counselor, bible teacher and preacher. He presently serves as the executive pastor of the Woodbine Family Worship Center. He is responsible for teaching a Celebrate Recovery Class each Friday at 7:00 PM. This class is for people that struggle with drugs, or alcohol, marital problems, eating disorders, sexual addictions, low self image, co-dependency, anger, financial issues, low self esteem, sexual abuse, and depression.
