The Stephen Ministry is an extension of the caring atmosphere here at Woodbine Family Worship Center. This ministry utilizes well-trained lay men and women who provide individuals in our congregation and community with confidential, one-to-one distinctively Christian care and support when they are experiencing any number of life's difficult circumstances.
Family Night
Every Wednesday night, we come together as a family to explore God’s Word through thought provoking Bible Study. We learn how to apply His teachings to our daily lives.
Women’s Ministry (WMC-Women's Ministry Connection)
The Women’s Ministry Connection meets on the third Saturday of each month. Throughout the year, we have special guests who come in and share about topics relating to women’s issues such as health, beauty, finances, and dieting, to name a few. The ladies enjoy a time of fellowship as they discuss the woman’s many different roles in today’s society. The WMC ministry sponsors an annual conference (THRIVE) that encourages women to make time for the special relationships that provide nourishment and strength -- spiritual mentors, close friends, prayer partners, and most important, their personal relationship with the Lord.
Seniors Ministry (SIA - Seniors in Action)
The Senior Adults in our church are on the move for the Lord! We meet every Tuesday from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. From time to time, we invite guest speakers who encourage and enlighten us on issues pertaining to our lives. We also plan special events, outings and share lunch together. Come join in the fun with our Seniors In Action!
Join us in the Agape Lagoon on Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Education Building. We have a great Children’s oriented praise and worship time, along with a time exploring God’s Word. Pirate Pete and occasionally, other characters will stop by for a visit. The children enjoy crafts, delicious snacks and have loads of fun. Children ages 5 though 10 are welcome.
The youth meet once a week on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Men’s Ministry (The Huddle)
The men meet the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. to study God’s Word, and to understand God’s purpose for their lives. There will be plenty of food !!!
Music Ministry
From the moment the first note is played on the piano, the presence of the Lord fills the sanctuary. We are firm believers that Praise and Worship paves the way for the ministry of the Word. We invite you to come and experience a time of fellowship with our Lord through Praise and Worship. If you have a talent to sing for the Lord, or play an instrument, we invite you to come and be a part of our Praise Team/Choir or band.
Television Ministry
Our television broadcast "Speaking to Nations". Acts 17:26: 26 "From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." Our program is in a discussion format that allows us to teach the Word of God so that everyone from all nations can understand Bible Principles and apply them to their lives. Our program currently airs on Comcast monthly.
